Man dies after shooting at Everett area party

EVERETT, Wash – A man who was reportedly shot at a party early Saturday morning in Everett, has died.  The Snohomish County sheriff’s office confirmed that the unidentified man died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle around 5:30 pm.

Deputies responded to a report of a loud party and possible gunshots around 3:30 am in the area of 124th Street SW and 4th Avenue West, police reported.   Deputies did not find anything suspicious in the area.

Around 4 am someone dropped the male shooting victim off at Swedish hospital, where he was later transferred to Harborview.

No names will be released at this time pending the results of the autopsy; confirmation of identity and notification of the next of kin, police said.

The Major Crimes Unit is investigating this situation as a homicide.

At this time there still are no suspects or motive for this incident.
