Man sings his way out of traffic ticket

A man in Florida used his singing voice to get out of a ticket for not wearing his seatbelt.

Gospel singer T.J. Bristol posted a selfie video to Facebook after being pulled over by police in Orange County for driving with his seatbelt unbuckled.

"God just got me out of this big ticket maybe you should try singing to your police officers," he wrote in the post.

It happened in Orange county, Florida - the Orlando area - and the Orange County Sheriff's Department confirms it took place - they even shared it on Facebook as well.

One of the officers involved lost her husband (also a police officer) in a line-of-duty murder 5 years ago and said the performance was 'therapeutic'.

That said, even if you have a great voice, you can't count on this trick working every time so remember to buckle up.
