Woman accused of throwing chili cheese fries during attempted robbery

GLENDALE, Calif. (AP) — A woman has been accused of throwing a plate of chili cheese fries at a fast-food worker in Glendale and then shattering the restaurant's front door during an attempted robbery.

The Los Angeles Times reports (http://lat.ms/1OhN7Y3 ) that the 40-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after demanding money from Troy restaurant while pointing her hands in the shape of a gun.

Police say she then walked behind the counter, attempted to punch an employee, hit another employee and tossed a nearby plate of cheese fries.

She was arrested of investigation of robbery, vandalism and shoplifting.
