BELLEVUE -- This morning, we visited Temple De Hirsch Sinai to learn more about some of the traditions surrounding Chanukkah. And, yes, we also asked Senior Rabbi Daniel Weiner about the appropriate spelling of the holiday; while there are many, Chanukkah is the one he feels is most accurate.

We were joined in the kitchen of the temple by some of its youngest members, who even sang for us! Rabbi Weiner also explained the significance of the menorah, and showed us how latkes are made.
