58-year-old Everett man charged in hit-and-run that killed bicyclist

EVERETT, Wash. -- Kerry Blake Stark, 58, of Everett,  has been charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a fatality accident for the hit-and-run accident on Nov. 19 that killed bicyclist Garth White, 41.

White was killed by a hit-and-run driver on 19th Avenue near 126th on the night of Nov. 19.

Witnesses said a black pickup truck that had been driving erratically struck the bicyclist, but then kept going. Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said that when officers arrived, they found the bicyclist, later identified as White, dead at the scene.

Stark was arrested by police later that night when a witness identified his pickup truck as the one involved in the accident.

Stark was held in the Snohomish County Jail on $150,000 bail.
