Cops: Man told 2 boys 'Batman' was in town in possible attempted luring

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, Wash. -- Police in Mountlake Terrace are warning parents of a possible attempted luring of two boys last weekend.

Officers were called around 5:30 p.m. Saturday to the 22800 block of 48th Ave W. in Mountlake Terrace.

Police said they received a report that a man asked two boys, 7 and 14-years old, if they wanted to see Batman. He told them his sports car was nearby.

The children said "no" and met their father at a nearby QFC grocery store.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s with a medium build, brown and gray hair, wearing a dark leather jacket and dark-rimmed glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
