Sneak peek of St. Jude Showplace Dream Home in Bellevue

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Q13 Cares is teaming up with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the fight against cancer. A Q13 FOX News crew was given a sneak peek inside the St Jude Showplace Dream Home in Bellevue which will raise money for research and treatments.

Home builder John Buchan homes is building the house and will put it on the market when it is built. The proceeds from that sale go to St. Jude.

On November 19, sponsors of the home signed the floor with inspirational messages.

“St. Jude’s pays for all for all of the care they provide their patients so the fact that families aren't financially devastated and they can focus on their kids and getting them well … it provides them hope and security and that's absolutely what these families and children need at that time,” said Heather Dosch with John Buchan Homes.

The multimillion-dollar home will include four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a fitness room, a theater room and a wine room.

All of the work in the home was donated.

Tours of the home will begin after it goes on the market in January 2016.
