Carson Palmer could be fined for this 'crotch-chop' at Seahawks fans shown on TV

SEATTLE -- Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer could be fined for a crotch-chop caught on camera near the end of Sunday's game against the Seahawks, according to ProFootballTalk.

NBC captured the moment on national TV after a 48-yard touchdown run by Andre Ellington.

Palmer is seen on Arizona's sidelines giving a couple intense fist pumps before doing a "crotch-chop" toward Seattle fans.

Rule 12, Section 3, Article (1)(c) defines unsportsmanlike conduct as “sing baiting or taunting acts or words that engender ill will between teams.” Note 4 specifically prohibits “throat slash; machine-gun salute; sexually-suggestive gestures; prolonged gyrations; or stomping on a team logo.”

That touchdown put the Cardinals up by 10 points. The Seahawks later kicked a field goal, but lost 39 - 32.

Coincidentally, the league fined Marshawn Lynch for grabbing his crotch in Arizona last year.
