1 man killed, another seriously injured in crash with garbage truck in Poulsbo

POULSBO, Wash. -- One man was killed and another seriously injured when their car collided with a garbage truck on Sawdust Hill in Poulsbo Tuesday, the Poulsbo Fire Department said.

The 62-year-old driver of the garbage truck was uninjured.

But the male passenger in the 1996 Subaru Impreza, Christopher Riley Earl Tevault, 28, of Kingston, was killed instantly, authorities said, and the male driver, 29, of Poulsbo, was extricated and airlifted to Seattle's Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

No other details were immediately available.
