Hot dog

“Is a hot dog a sandwich?”

The whole debate started when WGRZ sports reporter Jonah Javad asked Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor.

That was only the beginning…

“Is a Subway sandwich a sandwich?”

“Is the bread cut the same way as a hot dog bun? Yes it is!”

A sandwich defined: “A sandwich is a food item consisting of one or more types of food placed on or between slices of bread, or more generally any dish wherein two or more pieces of bread serve as a container or wrapper for some other food.”

Another reporter covering the Bills decided to ask the tough question too.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan reportedly weighed in, saying a hot dog is NOT a sandwich.

Dare we ask: Is a hamburger a sandwich?
