CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO – He’s 18 now, but he’s alive.

Thirteen years after he was reported missing as a 5-year-old in Birmingham, Ala., Julian Hernandez was found alive and well some 700 miles away in Ohio on Sunday, Cleveland’s FOX 8 reported.

His father,  Bobby Hernandez, was arrested and charged in connection with the boy’s abduction.

Julian Hernandez was reported missing by his mother after his father failed to drop him off at preschool on Aug. 28, 2002.

His mother was notified that he's safe.
