WHITE CENTER – A 26-year-old man was stabbed by three men who followed him getting off a bus in White Center, police said.

The victim told police that he got off a Metro bus at 15th Avenue SW and SW Roxbury around 6:45pm Sunday, followed by three men.

A fight between the victim and the three men occured, and the victim was stabbed in the back, police said.

All three suspects fled the scene on foot and police and medics responded and found the victim with a knife still in his back.

Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life threatening injuries.

The only description of the suspects is that they may be Hispanic males, late teens to early 20’s and one was reportedly wearing a blue bandana.

The King County Major Crimes Unit is handling the investigation. At this time it is unclear if the incident is gang related.
