Boy, 10, killed in central Washington ATV accident

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. -- Authorities say a 10-year-old boy was killed in an ATV crash this weekend near Marlin, Washington.

According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, a man was driving an all-terrain vehicle on private property Saturday afternoon in east-central Grant County. He lost control of the ATV, causing it to roll over and land on top of them.

The boy died at the scene.

A 16-year-old passenger suffered some back pain, but was released.

The Grant County Coroner's Office will conduct an autopsy on Monday to determine the cause and manner of death.
