Woman sent to hospital following burns at office building

SEATTLE -- A 59-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and a 40-year-old man suffered minor injuries when they were burned Wednesday at an office building, fire officials said.

The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center following the burns from an "electrical incident" in the 1600 block of 7th Avenue, officials tweeted.

Officials said the workers were in an electrical vault on the third floor of an office building when there was an "electrical arc" from a piece of equipment. Both the woman and man were employees at the building.
