Authorities identify baby killed in 7-vehicle pileup in dust storm

PROSSER, Wash. (AP) — An 8-month-old boy from Kennewick who was killed in a seven-vehicle pileup during a dust storm south of Prosser has been identified.

KEPR reports the Benton County Coroner identified Tyler Roy as the infant who died in the chain-reaction crash Saturday evening. Seven others were injured included the baby's 7-year-old brother who sustained head injuries.

The injured boy was taken to a children's hospital in Spokane.

The others ranged in age from 17-70 and were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
