NEW YORK, New York -- Was it life imitating art or the other way around?

Video of one determined rat hauling a giant slice of New York pizza down a flight of subway steps was getting shared all over Facebook Monday afternoon.

New Yorker Matt Little posted the video on Instagram and then shared it to his Facebook page with an epic one line caption.

“Master Splinter headed off to feed #TMNT”

Little tagged his location as the 1st Ave L Train Station between the East Village and Gramercy Park.
