Erratic driver hits worker in Puyallup parking lot before crashing into pole, police say



PUYALLUP, Wash. -- Police say an erratic driver struck a pedestrian Friday morning in a Puyallup parking lot.

Puyallup police were called to the Good Samaritan Behavioral Health parking lot around 8 a.m.

Officials said the woman was driving erratically as several employees were walking through the parking lot to work. They said she missed two workers but struck a third.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.

Investigators said the woman continued driving around the parking lot until she crashed into a pole. Medics were evaluating her condition.
