FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A crash involving a school bus and a car created big delays on northbound I-5 in Federal Way.

Officials said no students were on the bus at the time, but one person in the car suffered serious injuries. The bus driver was not hurt.

A WSDOT cam showed one school bus on the I-5 median between 272nd and 288th Streets around 8 a.m. A second school bus was on the shoulder, but has since left the scene.

Three lanes of traffic were getting past the scene, but traffic was backed up several miles on I-5 Thursday morning.
