SEATTLE — Tyler Lockett scored his third touchdown of the preseason on a 63-yard reception from Russell Wilson, Frank Clark had a sack and forced fumble that Jordan Hill recovered for a TD, and the Seahawks closed out the preseason with a 31-21 win over the Raiders.

After having a 103-yard kickoff return and 67-yard punt return for touchdowns earlier in the preseason, Lockett gave Oakland cornerback Keith McGill a brief hesitation, then sprinted free, catching the only pass thrown by Wilson.

Kasen Williams added a 15-yard touchdown reception from wide receiver/quarterback B.J. Daniels in the third quarter.

Steven Hauschka had a 55-yard field goal after his game-winning 60-yarder last Saturday against San Diego.

Oakland quarterback Matt McGloin played most of the final three quarters and threw touchdowns to Seth Roberts and Rod Streater.

Scoring recap

Oakland brought out the 2nd string to start the game, but the Seahawks decided to bring out Wilson and the starting offensive live for one drive, and that drive ended quickly.

Just two plays in Wilson connected with Tyler Lockett for a 63-yard touchdown pass. Believe it or not, that is actually Lockett’s shortest touchdown of the preseason. He’s already logged 67 and 103-yard returns for touchdowns.

R.J. Archer took over as QB after the first drive.

Late in the 1st quarter, Archer led the Hawks on a steady 54-yard, 5:06 drive. The team testing Steven Hauschka’s long range field goal skills, and he delivered a 55-yarder. Hawks went up 10 – 0.

The Raiders struggles continued as they brought in 2nd and 3rd stringers. Frank Clark knocked the ball loose from QB  Matt McGloin in the end zone, and Jordan Hill recovered for the touchdown. Hawks went up 17 – 0.

The Raiders made it onto the board late in the 2nd. Matt McGloin found Seth Roberts in the corner of the end zone for a 6-yard TD pass. Hawks led 17 – 7 at the half.

In the 3rd quarter, Matt McGloin connected with Rod Streater for a 28-yard touchdown pass. Defensive pass interference was called on Hawks’ Marcus Burley on the play.

Later, the Hawks brought in BJ Daniels at QB. He found Kasen Williams for a 15-yard touchdown, on an 80-yard, 6:14 drive. Hawks went back up by 10.

In the 4th quarter, Daniels showed his athleticism scrambling again for 20 yards to keep the drive alive.

Thomas Rawls had several carries for big gains, capped off by a 6-yard touchdown run.

Penalties hurt the Hawks late in the 4th and led to a Raiders touchdown. Seth Roberts grabbed a short pass and ran 39-yards, setting up Michael Dyer who punched it in for a 1-yard TD.

The Raiders managed to snag an onside kick with 48 seconds left in the game, but a sack by Williams and Gwacham helped run out the clock.

The Seahawks went on to win 31 – 21 with a final record of 2 – 2 in the preseason.
