17-year-old arrested in downtown Seattle tourist attack

SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with the attack and robbery of three tourists from Rhode Island in downtown Seattle on Monday night.

The Seattle Times reports (http://is.gd/iGaBvZ ) bike police spotted the young man on Friday near where the attack occurred.

He has been booked into the Youth Services Center for investigation of robbery.

Two women and a man were robbed Monday night by a group of people. All were battered, but not seriously injured.
