Small earthquake rattles rural Pierce County

EATONVILLE -- A small earthquake rattled some dishes early Monday morning in rural Pierce and Lewis Counties.

Around 7:33 a.m., a 2.9-magnitude quake struck 13km SSE of Eatonville, Washington, the United States Geological Survey said.

No damage was immediately reported.

At least one Q13 FOX News viewer said they felt the early morning quake.

"Felt the earthquake this morning as I was working from home," viewer Bonnie Comptom said. "I could hear it before I felt it. It was a good shake. Felt like someone hit the house with a truck."
