WMW tips lead Moxee Police to fugitive accused of violent attack on witness, stomping his face while unconscious

FUGITIVE CAPTURED August 28, 2015 -- Moxee Police Sgt. Mark Lewis arrested Elijah Slaven on Friday night after acting on a tip he received following the story that aired on Washington's Most Wanted. He says Slaven was sitting in a garage when they hit the house and when he spotted the K-9 blocking his only path of escape, he surrendered. Slaven is accused of ganging up on a relative of a witness in a case and trying to beat information out of him with two other suspects. The victim is still recovering from swelling in his brain. Police say he could be in Spokane or Olympia right now. Detectives say Slaven and two other suspects attacked a man related to a witness in a case. They were trying to beat information out of him, knocking him unconscious, then police say they stomped on his face while he lay motionless on the ground. Two suspects have been arrested but Slaven is on the run.
