Idaho woman wins major lottery prize twice in 3 months

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — While most people would be lucky to win the lottery once, an Idaho Falls woman has collected her second big check from the Idaho Lottery in just three months.

KTVB-TV reports that Misty Adams claimed her $250,000 prize from the lottery office in Boise Wednesday. She earned the payout by playing the scratch game Super Jumbo Bucks. Earlier this spring, she claimed a $200,000 winning ticket on the scratch game Winter Wonders.

Even those two wins aren't all for Adams. She has five other wins between $1,000 and $2,500. In all, she has claimed a total of $461,000 since last November.

She is currently third on the all-time winners lists for players with more than one top-prize wins on Idaho Lottery scratch games.
