2nd man arrested in connection with fatal shooting of 20-year-old in New Holly neighborhood

SEATTLE -- Police said they arrested a second man Wednesday in connection with the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man who was walking home from a friend's funeral service in Seattle's New Holly neighborhood.

Police said they arrested the suspected getaway driver, a 19-year-old, in downtown Seattle and booked him into the King County Jail.

Last week,  police arrested the 20-year-old suspect in the case at 45th Avenue South and South Kenyon Street, just a half-mile from the scene of the shooting.

Detectives say they are not searching for any additional suspects in the case.

On July 31,  police found a wounded 20-year-old man at 44the Avenue South and South Cloverdale and called for medics, who pronounced the man dead at the scene. Witnesses said he had been shot while walking home after attending a funeral service for a friend.
