SEATTLE — Seattle Police are looking for a mentally ill serial sex offender who they say targets women at public places.

Detectives say Ngaira Muhanji hangs around the Seattle Center so please call 911 immediately if you see him.

He has a Dept. of Corrections warrant for his arrest following a 2010 conviction.

“He fondled a woman in the Seattle Armory. She fought back. He became upset, went to the second floor, grabbed a garbage can, threw it over and hit a kid in the Children’s Museum that caused head and neck injuries,” said Jim Fuda with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound.

Muhanji has also been arrested for allegedly exposing himself in front of a juvenile outside a downtown hotel.

33-year-old Ngaira Muhanji is 5′ 8” tall, 190 pounds.

If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

All calls are anonymous and there is a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to his arrest.
