FUGITIVE CAPTURED August 11, 2015 —
Officers with the Department of Corrections’ Southwest Community Response Unit and the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested missing sex offender, Matthew Rice, in Tacoma on Tuesday night.

Department of Corrections officers in King County need your help finding a convicted rapist on the run.

Matthew Rice is also a High-Violent Offender who’s been busted for theft and multiple domestic violence crimes like assault and violating a ‘no contact’ order.

“Rice is on supervision for failing to register as a sex offender. Not only that, but he has four previous failing to registers as a sex offender,” says Department of Corrections Ofc. Emily Isaacs. “This is an individual who’s been on warrant since the end of April. We need your help to find him and get him in custody as soon as possible.”
