Marysville shooting suspect facing life in prison caught by Snohomish County deputies, K9 'Luuk"

FUGITIVE CAPTURED August 4, 2015 -- The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office says deputies from the Sheriff's Office South Precinct and K-9 "Luuk" captured shooting suspect Duncan Bercier on Tuesday night. He was featured on Washington's Most Wanted last week. The Sheriff's Office says good, proactive police work by deputies led to Bercier at a house in Bothell. He fled in a vehicle, crashed at a high rate of speed and took off running. Deputy McCullar and K-9 "Luuk" were called in to help track down Bercier and "Luuk" found him hiding behind a shed about two houses away from the crash scene. Bercier could be facing his third strike offense in Washington state which would put him in prison for life.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY July 29, 2015 -- Marysville Police are looking for Duncan Lee Bercier and asking for public’s help in finding him. Bercier is accused of Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree and Burglary 1st Degree stemming from a shooting on July 24th.  The victim was hit twice in the leg, detectives said. Bercier should be considered armed and dangerous. If he’s convicted, Bercier is facing life in prison because it will be his 3rd violent felony. He has been arrested 14 times and his criminal history includes assault with a deadly weapon. Detectives say he knows police are looking for him and claims he won’t be arrested, so he may try to run or fight with officers. Bercier also has a Department of Corrections warrant for Escape from Community Custody. He is 6’2” 196 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
