Deputies investigating body found in suitcase at apartment complex

SEATAC — Deputies are investigating a body found in a suitcase Monday morning near an elementary school, the King County Sheriff’s Office says.

Sheriff’s deputies received reports of a body found in a suitcase near the intersection of South 204th Street and 30th Avenue. A worker allegedly found the suitcase and body at an apartment complex in the area.

Different human remains were found in a suitcase near the Green River last month.  The remains were discovered in an empty lot on May 28 in a suitcase off Frager Road South near Kent, deputies said. Deputies sent the remains to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, but she was not identified.
