WANTED July 27, 2015 --
KENT, Wash. -- Investigators are asking for the public's help in finding an "armed and dangerous" man who is the prime suspect in a stabbing that seriously injured a Kent man last week.

According to Kent police, Michael A. Santos, 32, is suspected of entering a home and attacking a 64-year-old man early in the morning of July 22.

The victim was stabbed multiple times. He was transferred from MultiCare Auburn Medical Center to Seattle's Harborview Medical Center where the victim remains in critical condition. The victim's identity has not been released.

Detectives say Santos is wanted for 1st degree robbery and 1st degree assault following this incident. They say other charges are pending as well.

Santos is described as Hispanic or Samoan, bald, 5' 8" tall, weighing about 160 pounds. Police say he may still be in the Kent area.

“This subject has a lengthy criminal history, is believed to be under the influence of methamphetamine, and is what we consider a danger to the community,” said Detective Melanie Robinson.

Police believe Santos has a handgun and a large knife, and should not be approached. If you see him, call 9-1-1 or the Kent Police Department Tip Line at 253-856-5808.
