Police: Belfair woman arrested after shooting, killing man

BELFAIR — Police arrested a 54-year-old woman after she allegedly shot and killed a 52-year-old man Monday night at a home in Belfair.

According to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, dispatchers received a call around 7:58 p.m. stating that a man had been shot inside a home in the 100 block of NE Bear Ridge. When police arrived they found a man dead from a gunshot wound.

The man’s identity has not been released.

A woman of unknown relation was arrested at the scene, and taken to the Mason County Jail for investigation of murder, deputies said.

Sheriff’s office detectives are investigating.
