Male body pulled from Green River had been there 'for some time,' police say

AUBURN, Wash. -- A male body was pulled from the Green River in the Auburn Narrows Natural Area Wednesday, police said.

Officials said the body is male, but they haven't determined his age or manner of death. Police said the male had been in the river "for some time." The level of the river is now low, police said.

A swimmer in the Green River noticed the body at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday and called police, an officer said.
