UPDATE — Dancer has been arrested by authorities in Las Vegas. He is now in FBI custody.
KING COUNTY, Wash. — Logan Dancer must want to go back to prison. Redmond Police say on the same day he was released after serving seven years behind bars for bank robbery, he zip-tied and robbed two Simply Mac store employees at gunpoint.
Investigators say he left with large plastic bags full of laptop computers and iPods. He was seen on video at the nearby Marriott hotel on N.E. 74th St. with a large bandage on his face.
Police say he dropped a backpack with a handgun inside it as well as the stolen merchandise when officers started searching for him. He escaped despite a K-9 track.
Four days later on June 15th , Seattle Police say he dressed in a gray suit and robbed a U.S. bank in the 1400 block of 5th Avenue just after 10 a.m. Detectives say Dancer passed the teller a note that claimed he was armed.
The U.S. Marshals Pacific NW Fugitive Apprehension Task Force arrested him in 2008 after he robbed the same bank three times.
He went to prison and was just released last month. Now, they are out looking for him again.
