Police searching for pilot of drone that fell from sky, knocked woman unconscious at Seattle Pride

SEATTLE -- Police say a 25-year-old woman was struck by a small drone Sunday while attending the Seattle Pride Parade.

Now, they are trying to identify the pilot.

Seattle police say the woman was in the crowd near 4th Avenue and Madison when the 18" by 18" drone crashed into a building, then fell into a crowd. The woman's boyfriend caught her as she fell to the ground.

An off-duty firefighter helped treat her until police arrived.

One of the victim's friends handed the drone over to police along with photos of a man who may have been the pilot.

Officers are working to contact other witnesses who may have information about the suspect who was described as an unshaven male in his 20s, wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and cut off shorts, with a noticeable tattoo of a woman somewhere on his body.

If you have any information, contact Seattle police.

Seattle police said the drone weighs about two pounds and retails for $1,200.
