Pair of accused Seattle kidnappers caught

CAPTURE UPDATE July 17, 2015 -- Kristoffer Marthini is no longer wanted after showing up to court for his arraignment and having his warrant quashed. CAPTURE UPDATE June 30, 2015 — Seattle Police say Scott Koh contacted detectives Monday night and surrendered at headquarters. Police say pressure from Washington’s Most Wanted contributed to his decision to turn himself in. He was booked into the King County jail on his $500,000 kidnapping warrant. The other kidnapping suspect, Kristoffer Marthini, is now the subject of a manhunt by the U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Fugitive Apprehension Task Force.
FUGITIVE WANTED IN SEATTLE June 25, 2015 -- Detectives are looking for two kidnapping suspects, Scott Koh and Kristoffer Marthini, wanted in connection with a kidnapping on Sunday. Police say Koh, Marthini and two others were involved in the kidnapping, assault, and robbery of Koh’s estranged wife’s boyfriend. They are accused of beating him, tying him up and physically abusing him. The group eventually released him to police and he was taken to the hospital. Officers arrested them and they bonded out of jail, but now both have $500,000 warrants for their arrest. Koh is the owner of the Shilla restaurant at 8th and Denny Way. The other three suspects are employees there. Detectives say they were armed during the kidnapping and believe they have access to further weapons.
