‘Policing is in a crisis’: Departments nationwide look to Seattle police for help with body cameras

SEATTLE — As police departments nationwide struggle to implement video technology amid concerns about privacy rights and massive public disclosure requests, some are looking to Seattle for help.

Agencies from across the country joined a discussion at Seattle police headquarters Tuesday to find an effective solution for releasing video from patrol cars and body-worn cameras to the public.
