Chambers Bay is not spectator friendly. You can not follow a golfer from tee to green on most holes due to the hills throughout that block the view and ability to walk the length f the hole. Spectators are forced to divert in a completely different direction. They need to modify the ropes that allow the spectators full view from tee to green and the ability to walk the course from hole to hole in the same flow as the players. The players enjoy the spectators but do not have the privilege of their support during 2nd and 3rd shots. I’m glad I went on a practice round day because I think it is a waste of money to buy a gallery ticket for the tournament. This is a significant issue needing immediate attention.
