Man seriously injured in gas station shooting; police searching for suspect

SEATTLE — Police are looking for a man who shot and seriously wounded another man at a gas station Tuesday morning.

According to the Seattle Police Department, two men got in a fight around 9 a.m. outside a gas station in the 7300 block of Rainier Avenue South. The two men argued for some time, police said, before the suspect drew a gun and shot the victim in the face.

The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the scene in a silver Lincoln Navigator before police could arrive.

Detectives are trying to gather more information. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to call 911 or the police department’s violent crimes tip line at 206-233-5000.
