The Unlikely Caddie: Former Math Teacher Michael Greller of Gig Harbor

This time three years ago, Gig Harbor's Michael Greller was wrapping up another school year, as a sixth grade math teacher at Narrows View Intermediate School in University Place. Now, he's the full-time caddie for Masters Champion Jordan Spieth.

His journey is as improbable as the sand-and-gravel-mine-turned-golf-course that's hosting its first-ever U.S. Open, Chambers Bay. And he's another reason to root for Spieth when the U.S. Open begins on June 18 on Q13 Fox.
