Seattle Pacific University marks one year since deadly shooting on campus

SEATTLE — Friday marked one year since a deadly shooting at Seattle Pacific University.

Police say 27-year-old Aaron Ybarra opened fire inside the university’s science and engineering building, killing 19-year-old Paul Lee and injuring two others before he was tackled and disarmed.

On Friday, the school was remembering and healing.

    Sounds like a perfect example of why we all need to have the ability to arm ourselves. Maybe he would have been taken out before he could get off more than a shot or two. The people who tackled him put themselves at extreme risk.

    With the reception and attitudes I saw when I was ok n campus it’s no wonder they got shot up and I hope it happens again
