'Brave' act by fearless teacher goes viral, inspires new movement at school

WINLOCK, Washington --  One brave act by a local teacher that went globally viral has inspired a new movement called BRAVE.

It all started last month when Winlock Miller Elementary School teacher Tori Nelson shaved her head in support of one of her students who was being bullied.  Her simple act was shared on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram thousands of times.

Now Nelson is back and so is her entire class of 4th graders.

"In a world full of ugliness we wanted to create something beautiful," wrote the kids.  "We are brave and we wanted to show you what that means to us."
