Popular magazine introduces Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce, in new cover
NEW YORK -- Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, introduced herself on the cover of the upcoming "Vanity Fair."
The popular magazine tweeted a photo of the cover featuring Jenner, a former Olympic athlete. The photo was taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The article begins "Meet Caitlyn Jenner."
In the piece, Jenner speaks about her journey, saying, "If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'you just blew your entire life.'"
The magazine will hit newsstands next Tuesday.
After months of speculation, Jenner announced in April "I am a woman" in an exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer.
Jenner had a new Twitter handle Monday, and was tweeting.
The #CallMeCaitlyn blew up on Twitter Monday morning, with thousands saying simply, "she is beautiful."
