Fire rips through 3 RVs at Fife dealership (PHOTOS)

TUKWILA - A fire destroyed three recreational vehicles at a Fife dealership around 4 a.m. Thursday morning, the Tacoma Fire department told Q13 FOX News.

Smoke and flames from the fire at Fife RV Center could be seen by passing motorists on Interstate 5. The fire department said that the fire started in the middle of one of the RVs and then spread to two nearby RVs. Firefighers were able to contain the fire, preventing flames damaging other nearby RVs.

All three vehicles appeared to be new. Fortunately there were no injuries to anyone, the fire department said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and the damage estimate has not yet been determined.

This is a developing story and will be updated when more information is available.
