Tips lead to arrest of convicted felon wanted in Snohomish County

FUGITIVE CAPTURED June 8, 2015 -- Amber Frounfelter was arrested by Tukwila police on Monday during a traffic stop after anonymous tipsters spotted her and called police. FUGITIVE WANTED IN SNOHOMISH COUNTY May 12, 2015 -- Detectives say Amber Frounfelter sometimes goes by 'Amber Anne Sipe.' She's 30 years old and likely staying at motels along Aurora Ave./Hwy. 99. She has an arrest warrant in Snohomish County for Attempting to Obtain a Controlled Substance by Forged or Altered Prescription and for Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was arrested on August 14, 2014 at the Rite Aid on Smokey Pt. Blvd. and has now been charged so deputies need help finding her. When officers searched her they found a Target credit card belonging to another woman. The victim confirmed her purse and wallet had been stolen on July 31, 2014. When Amber was searched at the jail, officers found a baggie of narcotics inside her. Her criminal history includes a felony for possession of meth and six misdemeanors including 3rd degree theft.
