Ferry Tacoma back in service

SEATTLE – The Ferry Tacoma was put back in service Saturday afternoon after losing power on Friday and having to be towed to the Coleman dock.

There were huge delays at the Coleman Ferry dock on Saturday while the Tacoma underwent sea trials and smaller boats were shifted around to accommodate passengers.

The Tacoma was put back in service for the 3:45 p.m. sail from Seattle to Bainbridge Island.

That run was delayed after a passenger on board suffered a medical emergency.

The ferry is now up and running and the delays cleared Saturday evening.
