‘Bear’ the dog alerts owners to burglar in Auburn home, saves them from possible danger

AUBURN, Wash. — Bear the dog is being called a hero.

Bear alerted his owners that there was a burglar inside their home.

Kayce Lindblad and her boyfriend, Tyler Morrow, explain how Bear saved them from walking into a dangerous situation.

    It’s nice to see some good press about pit bull like breeds. Ours is now twelve and has kept us protected from many dangers.

      I totally agree. The public would hear more good stories about pitbulls if the media knew they could go with it. BUt since more people would rather hear about a tragedy that something feel good, then that is what the media reports.
      Think about it, here is a story about how a pitbull saved a family from a burgler and there was only a couple comments. And chances are there wont be a follow up story. BUt now when there is a tragedy, then there are hundreds of comments about how bad a pit can be and the media will run a follow up after follow up about the tragedy. It is what sells and what the public wants to hear.
