Mace released in Pioneer Square basement, HazMat team on scene
SEATTLE -- A hazmat team responded to the basement of a building near Pioneer Square Friday morning with report of mace being released in a building.
Seattle Fire tweeted about the incident at 8:40 a.m.
It is not known why the mace was released. Three patients were treated for mild irritation of eyes and lungs.
