MOORESVILLE, N.C. — NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. is sharing photos of a treehouse he is putting the finishing touches on.
Earnhardt was inspired by the Animal Planet show “Treehouse Masters” which builds deluxe treehouses with electricity and running water, FOX Sports reports.
He began the project last year after purchasing a $100 design plan from Pete Nelson, who is featured on the show.
“It’s good, tried-and-true, and it’s not going to fall out of the tree,” Earnhardt told Hendrick Motorsports.
Earnhardt and his girlfriend Amy Reimann tweeted a few photos of their new abode, and even their dog Gus seems to approve.
