WASHINGTON D.C. — Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts didn’t miss a beat when his cell phone rang during a committee hearing Thursday.

In the midst of Tom Vilsack’s testimony during a Finance Committee hearing Roberts suddenly interrupted.

“Ahh come on,” he exclaimed as he reached into his pocket.

As the ringtone notes played those in attendance quickly recognized them from the song Let it Go as featured in the Disney hit movie Frozen.

Laughter followed in the chamber as the 78-year-old Senator silenced his phone.

“Just let it go,” he said with a wide sweep of his hands.  “Sorry about that.”
