SEATTLE -- As legendary announcer Dave Niehaus would say:

"Welcome back, baseball."

The Mariners kick off the 2015 Major League Baseball season today against the Los Angeles Angels at 1:10 p.m. at Safeco Field. Field gates open at 10:40 a.m., and pre-game festivities start at 12:30 p.m.

However, the game is sold out, so you better already have a ticket handy before headed to the ballpark.

Along with the kickoff of the 2015 season, some new things are coming to Safeco Field, including one-of-a-kind lights and tasty menu options. Watch Kelly O'Connell's video above for more.

For tickets and game schedules, visit the Mariners website.

And check out this classic video from Niehaus. Because, well:

Welcome back, baseball. Welcome back.
