SEATTLE -- The last three pontoons for the new 520 bridge just left Aberdeen and are expected to arrive at the Lake Washington project site within days.

To celebrate, WSDOT is offering a chance for you to win a private tour of the new bridge.

How do you win?

“Tweet us your best photographs of the new bridge’s pontoons,” says Ian Sterling with WSDOT.

The photo contest starts now and runs through noon on Monday April 13th.

Sterling says tweets must include the hashtag #520Pontoon.

They may have been taken at any time, but they must feature one of the new pontoons for the new bridge. So no photos of the existing bridge pontoon’s or the I-90 bridge pontoons.

The photo must also be embedded within your public tweet and not just a link to another source.

As for that prize?

“The five winning photographers will be invited to take a behind the scenes, hardhat required tour of the new floating bridge site,” says Sterling.

Jon Marmor, editor of UW alumni magazine Columns, will serve as the contest judge.
